Frizlife RO-K3 Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System - 100 GPD, 1:1 Pure to Drain, Small Size, Easy Install

Frizzlife RO-K3 Reverse Osmosis is great addition to house and kitchen. It has very simple and easy to install design which made me less nervous installing any other RO system. I have used other water filters of frizzlife, just like those quality of this one is sublime. It has all required tools and guides for the job. Also, their customer support is great in-case any help is required.

Bought the Frizzlife RO-K3 RO Reverse Osmosis Filtration drinking water system and the Installation was straightforward and the instructions are clear. I highly recommend watching the video on how to install. It will save you from having any trouble with the install and it��s very informative. Took me one hour to install after watching the video located on the discerption of the item. Water pressure has been great, the system is very well built and super easy to install. It reduced PPM in my water from 350 to 2 PPM tested using TDS tester which is surprisingly low. The strange tastes in my tap water are all gone. I��m actually going to order a fridge connection adapter to get the same water in my fridge and ice maker. The unit was well packaged, and the parts and fittings are high quality. I'm very pleased with the product and would buy it again. Highly recommended for every family!!! Thank you Frizzlife! It��s well worth the money.

I installed this RO system today and it took about 1 hr which included cleaning out the bottom of the kitchen sink. I have installed many RO systems over the years for family, friends, new construction builds and remodeling jobs. I don't like to install them under kitchen sinks as a leak can cause cabinet and subfloor damage. It is also harder to access and change the filters as well as perform periodic checks. This compact and unique system however changes my opinion to keep them out from base cabinets. I think this one has been designed for that and it works well. The included 1/4" tubing should be enough in length to allow the filter to be pulled out from inside the cabinet and set on the floor for filter changes. It was in the 36" base cabinet where I installed this test unit. The instructions come with ample photos and diagrams and is clearly written in English. The installation video in this listing should also be watched as it is very informative and prepared me enough to not even need the instruction book. I did look in it too see how much water is recommended to run thru the new system to flush it out before use. It is recommended to drain out 3-4 storage tanks full first. That equates to 6-8 gallons. I ran the system on first start up with the faucet open until approximately 2 gallons had been produced. I then let it fill the storage tank once and then completely emptied it. In this way the sediment, carbon and RO filters get rinsed straight out the faucet and not into the storage tank. Then the storage tank gets rinsed with a fill and empty. After that break in period the water became crystal clear with no micro air bubbles or cloudy appearance. Upon a filter change I will likely turn the storage tank valve to "off" and then run 2 gallons of water thru the new filters. After that I would turn the tank back on and let it completely empty and fill once. I think it is good practice to complete empty the storage tank water periodically to keep it fresh. The sediment/carbon filter is recommended to be changed out every 6-8 months depending on the source water quality. The RO is recommend to be replaced every 1-2 yrs. The final granular activated carbon filter is recommended to be replaced every 6-12 months. I will likely change the sediment/carbon filter every 6 months, RO membrane 1 yr, and post filter 1 yr. That would mean I need to order and keep on hand 2 pre-filters, 1 RO and 1 post per year. That adds up to around $130 per year. I think this system is adequate to handle a household of 4-6 people. I would recommend also getting the ice maker kit and running the RO water to your refrigerator. That way you will have cold filtered water and ice if your fridge has those features. I like this new design. It has the advantage of space savings and easy filter changes. It creates less water spills when chaining the filters as the lid is on the top of the filter as opposed to unscrewing canisters full of water with the filter inside, and having to dump them out in the sink. This design also has the advantage of not needed to have an electrical receptacle in the base cabinet like a lot of the other newer RO systems that have a pump in them. If you do have an electrical receptacle there or can have one installed, then you might want to consider a system like that. The advantage of those is that they seem to produce filtered water faster and don't need a storage tank. With them you can produce unlimited filtered water a full flow, without the 2 gallon storage tank limit of this system. Once you empty the storage tank of water the filter produces a slow flow that takes about 5 minutes to fill an 8 oz glass. This system features the Frizzlife TD-3 post filter. You might want to consider their TD-9 post filter which also includes remineralization in addition to the carbon. I think it is a worthwhile consideration to not only raise the ph of the RO water from acidic to alkaline but also seems to improve the taste for most people. Frizzlife offers another RO-K3 system with that filter instead. I would visit the Frizzlife store on Amazon to see the different models. Overall I do like this system. I think it is perfect for most residential homes. The dispensing faucet is nice quality and so are all the components. 5 stars.

I really liked the smooth and pure water out of it, it taste good. It��s not a bulky RO system and pretty easy to install.
