Q: What is the capacity of the tank?

A: The filling tank is 0.79 gallon (3L). The pure water tank is 0.4 gallon (1.5L).

Q: How to reset filter life?

A: You need to reset the cartridge life after replacing with new one. Please unplug the power firstly. After replacing the cartridge, please plug the power and then long press the corresponding button to reset it (we would like to recommend you use a toothpick or some sharp stuff to long press it). Then flush them before starting to use.

Q: How often should the filter cartridges be replaced?

A: About the service life of the filter cartridge for WA99, we would like to recommend you to change the 1^st and 2nd stage every 6 months or 1500L, change 3^rd and 4th stage every 12 months or 3000L. Please notice the service life depends on your water quality and daily usage. All the specification data of the flow capacity that is listed on the sticker is based on actual test from laboratory and it's provided water.

Q: Why does out TDS show “- -”?

A: For the new system: the dash line on the panel is normal. We would like to recommend you to dispense 3 cups of 330ml water, the dash line should disappear and out TDS reading should show up

If you have used the system for a while but the out TDS reading shows dash line halfway: This may because you did not empty the filling tank every time before adding water. The out TDS may show dash line as the water in the filling tank has become too condensed and TDS is too high. In this case, please empty and clean the filling tank firstly. And then, please flush the system for 1-2 tanks of water through the drain outlet on the back of the system. After that, please dispense 3 cups of 330ml water, the dash line should disappear and out TDS reading should show up.

Q: Why the our TDS shown by the system is lower than the results of TDS pen?

A: This is because the 4^th stage filter has not been fully flushed. The out TDS results will be more and more accurate along the usage.

Q: Why the In TDS shown by the system is much higher than the results of tap water?

A: As regards TDS, it is normal. The reasons are as follows. Our system uses advanced recycle technology and maximizes the efficiency through its circular multi-filtration process. The water filtered out will not be hastily classified as waste water since it has not been completely purified. Instead, the water will be recycled and flows back to the filling tank in order to get ready for the next round of filtration. This cycle continues until the red “Change Water” light on the screen turns on. In this case, as water goes back to the filling tank, the water solution in the filling tank is becoming more condensed. Therefore, the actual TDS in the filling tank is much higher than what you got from tap.
