I did extensive research before purchasing, this clearly Chinese product. I was worried the engineering wouldn't live up to the price. I was very surprised and delighted on it's inspection. I had a professional plumber provide the installation and am very pleased with the result. We live in a hilly section of remote Vermont with a small water privately operated water system. We have water issues, and having a leak can cause our water system to run out. This system is an ideal solution. We traveled this winter, and did not want any water leak/issues with our rentors or with water leakage. IT's WiFi is excellent and I was able to monitor it the 3 months we were away. It also is great that I can get a report on water usage. I suggest hooking it up with a bypass in case of failure of issues with the monitor.
Great meter and valve protector. It's expensive but compared with the cost of any posible damage at home, its worth.
We aware that you need a 120V outlet close by to be able to connect the charger permantly. If you don't have one, you can use a portable cellphone charger, but you will need to charge it every 2 days o more if you want to have the meter online. Otherwise it will keep protecting the flow, but it will be off line.

Once connected to HA, there are whole lot of other possibilities, I can see it's status on Apple Home Kit App. I have added rules in HA to notify me when flow is over certain limit. I have also set up HA to plot the usage which is something I had never seen before. This is truly a smart device and a must to be part of Home Automation and Security.

This device is the most amazing piece of mind. A person could have, especially after a broken waterline in a four-story home that happened on the top floor and put over 3000 gallons of water through the house. It’s super super easy to install very user-friendly most of all an incredible piece of mind but just as amazing as this product, is the customer service! Always replied the same day could not be happier with this purchase! Also was spot on with the water pressure when the city tested it with their device.
This device is everything it claims to be! Excellent quality. For some reason I thought it came with the fittings for the 3/4” copper but I had to go to Home Depot and pick up the necessary parts. I had to get another ball valve and other fittings anyways to install the valve as the vendor recommended method creating a bypass.

I installed this myself. I installed shutoff valves to bypass it in the event that I ever have to service it. I had a small issue after I installed it, and contacted Frizzlife Customer Service. Frizzlife Customer Service got back to me right away and went above and beyond to solve the problem. I'd give them an A+. The unit performs like it should, and watches for water leaks. It reports water consumption and temperature to my phone and allows me to turn the water on and off. Several people in my area have had several thousand dollar water bills because vandals turned on their outside water faucet or they had a water pipe break while they were away. This unit will prevent that. If it detects constant flowing water for too long it will shut off the water and message your phone. When I'm away for the weekend or gone on vacation I use my phone to shutoff my water. The app works well and unlike what one of the other reviews says, there is no charge to install it or use it. I would highly recommend this product.
This unit can by installed by a DYIer if your comfortable with plumbing. Otherwise hire a professional. It is intended for one inch supply line but comes with 3/4�?adapters. You will need a nearby outlet to power the unit. Also a WiFi signal. The app that pairs with this unit is basic but functional. This will be a good device to provide piece of mind from the worry of water leaks.
I'll note up front that we are waiting to have this LP365-P monitor installed by a professional and it's delayed due to other work going on. I am not familiar enough with this type of install and want it done properly. I'll give my impressions so far and update when it's finally installed.
I was impressed when I opened the box. Packed very well. Menu is straightforward. Display is easy to read and understand. There's a sticker with the quick key guide on the top of the unit, which is a nice add (an extra sticker also included). I worked through some of the settings and buttons and it's pretty intuitive.
When I pulled the unit out, I heard a beep and the digital display was on. Caught me a little off guard. It has a pronounced beep when a button is pressed. There doesn't seem to be a way to power the unit off completely. Not a big deal, as the display turns itself off soon and only comes on with button press or alarm. Since it isn't connected to anything yet, the display flashes an empty pipe warning and a valve open indication - good to see the display is relaying info.
There is a thin film on the screen that can be removed. It took a few tries to find the edge.
The Smart Life app seems simple/straightforward. As another reviewer noted, as a monitor the usage data is limited compared to other offerings. They provide a QR code to the app in multiple locations, including the sticker on top of the unit. If you haven't done this before, have your Wifi password ready in order to complete the connection.
The product details say AAA batteries are required, but that isn't the case with this model. It has a power cable and brick with a rechargeable battery house inside. The battery level is on the display but I don't see it in the app. It looks like the display produces a low battery error but not sure about the app, so that's something I'll test when installed. Will be good to know if something is wrong with power to the unit. I plan to have this connected to a surge protector on the outlet as well.
I compared the price and this one was more affordable than another option. It will give some peace of mind when away from the house.
I’ve been looking for smart water valve for a while now. I initially wanted the other large brand but paying $550 was bit out of my budget. Then came this which was great! I’ve been. Frizzlife customer for years and been very happy with their products and especially customer service. While this was new, I felt pretty confident I get the same experience. Installation was a bit tricky for me as my water shutoff valve was located outside and didn’t have a power source. But decided to invest and install this device. As expected, I had questions and Frizz’s crusty service was very responsive and thorough. If your a DIY and not comfortable with email support, I suggest you either higher someone. The app is handy, tells basic water flow and the ability to shut the water off remotely and or set alarm conditions for water pressure so you don’t get constant alarms. So far the price, service and functionality fits the bill.

Installing it was simple, and its best feature is the ability to monitor and control water usage. It is a bit expensive, but I believe it’s worth every penny—I've already saved more than its cost in water over just six months. I wish these were a standard feature in new homes today.
This is working fine, easy to install. I just wish I would have purchased the one with flow + temperature instead of flow + pressure. It would be more helpful to know the water temp when it gets really cold in winter. I have used this for 2 weeks now. A few days ago I received an app notification that it was about to shut off the water due to unusual activity. A quick check and there was a toilet that didn't stop running. Adjusted the handle to stop the flow and this Frizzlife didn't even need to shut off the valve, it gives you enough time to find the problem. I saw a previous review about having to subscribe for text and email notifications, but you don't need to do that. The in-app notifications work fine.
My cottage has old copper piping and I am terrified of leaks. It has been happening to my neighbours whose cottages were built around the same time, and the repercussions can be disastrous! Unfortunately, we're dealing with pinhole leaks, which are slow flowing. They present as a trickle so often get missed by leak detectors. This one is able to pick up on it when I simulated one at my tap.
After installation I opted to make it routine for me to close the valve through the app manually. I now turn on the water every time I visit and turn off every time I leave. I no longer have to go to the basement to do it, and if I forget to do it I can do it remotely.

we had a few leaks in our home so insurance made us get something to auto detect or they would drop us from our coverage... we ordered Frizzle and have been pleased. While it did detect a leak (problem with the install) it has since shut our water off twice because of a Wifi or other issue we can't figure out. That's a pain when you're in the shower.

While re-piping my home, I installed the Frizzlife water monitor and automatic shutoff for added peace of mind, protection against water damage, and a $72 per year discount on my homeowner's insurance. I really liked the simplicity of this unit and the relative ease of use. I especially like the fact that my home's water supply can be turned off with a click of the app.
Though I have only had this installed for a month, The Frizzlife was put to the test when I accidentally left a garden hose turned on outside. Though the loss of water was minimal because of the spray attachment was off, the Frizzlife did it's job and shut down my home's water supply. Imagine my surprise when I turned on the bath faucet at 2 in the morning and nothing came out. Fortunately the fix was as easy as turning off the garden spigot and using the app to turn the water back on. For a minute, I was really expecting the worse. Thank goodness for Frizzlife because I was able to get back to sleep knowing their product has my back.
As a side note, I chose the Frizzlife over the name brand because it was half the cost and had better reviews. I know the other one is the one most insurance companies recommend. However, Farmers Insurance accepted this one without question.
This is a fine product. Experienced a leak last year that cost me several hundred dollars for the wasted water. This unit allows you to monitor water use from your phone and will shut off the water if it Senses a leak. Can't speak to its longevity yet. Hope it will last several years.

I had to disable leak protection. Have a swimming pool that uses a small amount of water to make up for evaporation. The valve sensed this as a leak and shut off the water. There are no settings that allow you to account for small continuous usage. Contacted the company twice for help and received no response. Crickets.
Great idea to have an automatic shut off valve that determines leaks. Easy install, my only problem was not knowing that 1" Sharkbite fitting do not fit 1" PVC pipe; it's a special connector. I cut the pipe and realized that it did not fit, luckily Lowes had an option to make it right.
it is early days, but so far the product works as advertised. Time will tell how well it stands up to the task. That said, here is what I can share: the product arrived on time, well packaged, with extra seal rings (thank you!) and plenty of teflon tape. The quick start guide was quite useful, and the full manual also very helpful. I constructed a manifold which allowed for the water monitor and a by-pass line with a ball valve. I added an additional ball valve above/after the smart valve (as well as the one below/before). This allowed me to cut the water supply side as well as the load side and remove the value should I have to service it in the future. Of course the manifold also has the bypass line with it's own cutoff valve. The manifold made installation relatively easy and kept water flow disruption to a minimum. Connecting to WiFi and configuring via teh mobile app (I used the android version) was fast and easy, adn I know can monitor ny water system. I will, in the future configure a time zone for when my sprinkler is running, so that does not trigger an alert. So....so far so good.
I bought the frizzle smart monitor to monitor a well that provides water to several remote water troughs for livestock after one of the floats failed and water ran for 10+ days nonstop! Since installing it I have had three alerts where the monitor turned off the water because a leak was detected. The app can control the monitor and provides decent stats, although it would be nicer if the data was updated more frequently and with more granularity.
This smart water monitor has been a very helpful tool for detecting leaks, especially when we’re out of the country on trips. The ultrasonic micro-leak detection is sensitive enough to pick up extremely low flow rates, and alerts come through quickly on the app.
The automatic shutoff feature is the main reason I chose it, and it works exactly as expected. Knowing it can shut off the water if something goes wrong gives me real peace of mind.
Installation was straightforward if you have some basic plumbing knowledge. It supports both 3/4" and 1" NPT connections, so it fit my existing line without needing extra adapters. Once powered up, pairing with the app was simple, and the interface is clean and easy to navigate.
The app shows real-time flow rate and temperature, and the water usage reports are detailed and easy to understand. Build quality feels solid, and I haven’t experienced any connectivity issues so far. Overall, it’s a reliable and practical upgrade for home protection.
I originally purchased a "Turbine" type water meter from a very large plumbing fixture company that has been completely useless. It would not measure flow when the water was running and the app to monitor was extremely slow to refresh. So far I'm very pleased with the LP365-p. Compared to my old meter, this meter has been very accurate on my water usage. Another plus for this meter is the on unit screen that allows me to view flow rate directly on the unit rather than opening the app. The app is also very responsive. My only complaint is the app only refreshes once per minute, but compared to my old meter, is still faster. At almost half the price this is a great meter.
