Frizzlife K45-BN brushed nickel dual-outlet shower filter unit
K45-BN | Brushed Nickel Shower Filter

Dual-Outlet Shower Filter for Fixed & Handheld Showers

The Frizzlife K45-BN dual-outlet shower filter helps reduce free available chlorine in water delivered to your fixed shower head and handheld shower. One replaceable cartridge filters the incoming water before it reaches either outlet, allowing you to keep the shower fixtures you already enjoy.

K45-BN includes the filter unit only; fixed and handheld shower heads and the handheld hose are not included. Need a shower head too? Explore the K45 + HS04-BN or the K45 + HS04 + TS04-BN.

Brushed Nickel Finish Coordinates with brushed nickel bathroom fixtures.
Chlorine-Reducing Media 210 g of KDF-55 and calcium sulfite filter media.

One Inlet, Two Outlets

How the K45-BN Dual-Outlet Shower Filter Works

Water enters the K45-BN through a single inlet and passes through its filtration cartridge before being directed to the two shower connections. This design makes it possible to use one central filter instead of separate filters for a fixed and a handheld shower.

Shared Filtration Both water paths use the same cartridge.
Flexible Outlet Use Use the fixed or handheld shower according to your setup.

Designed for Existing Shower Fixtures

Keep Your Fixed Shower Head and Handheld Shower

Attach your compatible fixed shower head to one outlet and your handheld shower hose to the other. You can retain your preferred spray settings and bathroom style while adding chlorine-reducing filtration. Check your shower connections and the installation instructions before fitting the unit.

Fixed Shower Connection Continue using a compatible fixed shower head.
Handheld Shower Connection Connect a compatible handheld hose and sprayer.

According to the product specifications, chlorine-reduction performance was tested by SGS with reference to NSF/ANSI 177; this should not be confused with NSF product certification.

Simple Filter Maintenance

One Replaceable Shower Filter Cartridge, Up to 3 Months

Because both shower outlets use the same filter cartridge, routine maintenance stays simple. A K45-BN cartridge can last up to three months, depending on shower frequency, water quality and total water use. Follow the product manual for replacement and care.

Up to 3-Month Filter Life Actual replacement timing depends on water conditions and use.
One Cartridge to Replace Maintain filtration for both outlets with one filter change.

Upgrade Both Shower Outlets with One Filter

Keep your existing fixed shower head and handheld shower while adding chlorine-reducing filtration to both. The Frizzlife K45-BN combines dual-outlet convenience, purpose-selected filter media and a brushed nickel finish in one shower filter unit.

FAQ

Does the K45-BN include shower heads?

No. The K45-BN includes the dual-outlet shower filter unit only. Fixed shower heads, handheld sprayers, and shower hoses are not included. If you need additional fixtures, explore the K45 + HS04-BN bundle or the K45 + HS04 + TS04-BN complete shower combo.

Can I use K45-BN with my existing shower heads?

Yes. K45-BN is designed to work with compatible fixed shower heads and handheld shower hoses, so you can keep your current fixtures. Check your shower connections before installation to ensure compatibility.

Can both shower heads run at the same time?

Yes. K45-BN is designed to support fixed, handheld, or simultaneous shower use. Both outlets receive water that passes through the same filter cartridge. Actual flow and pressure depend on your plumbing and shower setup.

Does K45-BN reduce chlorine and soften hard water?

K45-BN uses KDF-55 and calcium sulfite media to help reduce free available chlorine in shower water. However, it does not remove hardness minerals such as calcium and magnesium, so it is not a water softener.

Will the shower filter reduce water pressure?

K45-BN features an optimized internal water path designed to minimize flow restriction. Actual shower pressure depends on your existing plumbing, shower heads, and whether both outlets are used simultaneously.

How often should I replace the K45-BN filter cartridge?

The filter cartridge can last up to 3 months, depending on water quality, shower frequency, and overall water usage. Both outlets share one cartridge, so only one filter needs to be replaced during routine maintenance.

Is the Frizzlife K45-BN NSF certified?

According to the product specifications, K45-BN has been tested by SGS to NSF/ANSI 177 for shower-water chlorine reduction. SGS testing to this standard is not the same as NSF product certification.

Customer Reviews

Overall rating: 5.0 / 5 from 10 reviews.

Good option if you have both a fixed shower head and a handheld. I especially like the idea of maintaining one filter instead of two. The installation process seems pretty straightforward, and the whole setup has a clean, practical design. It's a simple solution for anyone who doesn't want to replace their existing shower fixtures just to add a water filter.

Frizzlife Dual-Outlet Brushed Nickel Shower Filter (Filter Only), K45-BN

The brushed nickel color looks much better than I expected and goes perfectly with our shower fixtures. What I really appreciate is that the filter doesn't make the shower area look cluttered. We still have the flexibility of using our regular shower head or the handheld one, which was important to us. Really nice design overall.

Frizzlife Dual-Outlet Brushed Nickel Shower Filter (Filter Only), K45-BN

I spent a while looking at different shower filters before finding this setup. Most of the ones I saw only worked with a single shower head, so the dual outlet design caught my attention. It looks neat once installed and doesn't take up much space. I also like that future filter changes should be simple since there's only one cartridge to replace. Overall, a well thought out product.

Frizzlife Dual-Outlet Brushed Nickel Shower Filter (Filter Only), K45-BN

Such a convenient upgrade for our bathroom. I wasn't sure how the filter would look once installed, but the brushed nickel finish blends in really nicely. It keeps everything looking simple while still allowing us to use both shower heads. Definitely prefer this over having separate filters attached everywhere.

Frizzlife Dual-Outlet Brushed Nickel Shower Filter (Filter Only), K45-BN

The dual outlet feature is definitely the best part. We use the handheld shower pretty often, so I wanted something that could work with both outlets instead of choosing one or the other. The design is neat, doesn't take up too much space, and fits in well with our shower hardware. Very pleased with the overall setup.

Was looking for a shower filter that wouldn't require changing all my existing fixtures. This one made sense because of the two outlets. The brushed nickel also matches my bathroom surprisingly well. I like how simple the design is, and having just one cartridge to worry about is a nice bonus.

Frizzlife Dual-Outlet Brushed Nickel Shower Filter (Filter Only), K45-BN

This is a really thoughtful design. I originally just wanted a filter for our shower, but most options I found didn't work well with a dual shower head setup. This one solves that problem nicely. Everything feels well organized, and I don't have extra attachments hanging all over the place.

I like that I can use both my regular shower head and handheld sprayer without needing separate filters. The whole setup feels more practical now. Installation was pretty simple too. It's one of those small bathroom upgrades that makes more sense once you actually have it installed.
