I am Super impressed with the frizzlife lpg-365-p. When I got it up and running, I ran a leak test and it showed that I did have one. After looking at all the suggestions given by the frizzlife team, I checked my sprinkler system and turned out the vacuum break device had cracked and was leaking 0.12 gal/m. If you are on the fence about this as an investment, I assure you itโs worth every penny. All my questions were answered by email and even had a call after I had finished with the installation. Kai wanted to make sure I had no more questions. Iโve tried another device, floodstop, but it didnโt perform anywhere close to how this device does.
So I got this unit after my whole home water filtration system sprung a leak in one of the canister filters. I literally just walked out to the garage in the morning and water was leaking everywhere. The water bill wasn't nice to look at either. My house gets about 75 psi of water pressure so any leak will result in tons of water going everywhere. Luckily this happened in the garage and not in the house! This lead me to do some research and I ended with getting the LPG365-P from Frizzlife. It's fairly easy to install if you have the tools to do so but I'm sure any plumber can install it for you. Here are some consideration to take into account:
1. The unit is a bit heavy at 3.6 lbs but keep in mind it has a valve, actuator, display, and battery. The battery is nice because if your power goes out and you spring a leak, this unit will still close the valve.
2. It comes with a 3/4 NTP adapter but if you use PEX, you will need to go get an adapter to fit your piping.
3. The unit is built very well and the display is very easy to use. It has a touch sensor and it's quite responsive.
4. Frizzlife has an app and the instructions are clear enough so you can connect it to Wifi and add the device to the app.
5. The unit has built in protection so if you spring a leak, it will automatically shut off your water for you or you can manually turn it off remotely.
6. It has 3 Leak Sensors which is great, I put on under my whole home water filtration system, another under the kitchen sink, and the last will go in my master bathroom.
Overall I think most people will find this is a worth while investment for your home. A leak can cost you thousands of dollars in repairs and this just gives you peace of mind. Additionally, it monitors how much water you are using so you can easily just compare that number on your water bill as a secondary check.
I purchased this system after a toilet tank cracked in my house and caused a massive water leak. The cleanup and repairs were a huge headache, and I never want to go through something like that again.
I havenโt permanently installed the system yet, but I did test it first to make sure that detecting water would actually shut off the main water supply. I didnโt want to go through the installation process without confirming that it worked, and thankfully, the test was successful.
Iโm looking forward to getting it fully installed and placing the Frizzlife sensors under every sink and toilet in the house. Knowing that the system can automatically shut off the water if a leak is detected will give me a lot more peace of mind, especially when we are sleeping or away from home.
Always been fan of the frizzlife products. They are so reliable and easy to use. This smart monitor doesnโt just monitor the water usage but sensors detects leaks. It also have auto shutoff feature and mobile app. Perfect for travelers and property owners. WiFi connectivity is enabled to be controlled from anywhere.
Like many have reported, the app could be improved, and I hope it will over time. The important thing is that the device seems pretty solid, with tests being passed to detect tiny, simulated water leakages, and close off the supply valve. Word of advice, unless you are very comfortable with plumbing, and messing with your main water supply, hire a plumber to do this. The device won't help with water leak detection where it's entering the unit!
Fittings are included to adapt this for lower throughput supply lines. The plumber that installed this for me commented on the quality of this unit vs. cheaper options he has been asked to install. That was a relief, because this is a permanent install.
The app sends you notifications of leaks it is sensing, and provides daily, weekly and monthly water usage, so you can really get a sense of who is spending too much time in the shower and confront them with the stats to prove it!
After we had 2 claims on our insurance this year, our reputable insurance company dropped us like hot coals and no one else would pick us up with a name I recognized. The only one my agent could find required this install. Now that I have done it, I am glad I did. Versatile protection with the remote pucks to sense water leaks in critical areas. DIY installation not too bad if you know how to work copper. I believe there is a learning curve for the machine as it shut off the water when my softener was replenishing. So far, it's only happened once. Would buy this again especially with more features than M*en at less price point. I also like the all metal construction for the hook ups.

This thing is pretty cool installation was pretty quick we installed it on the pipe that goes from the pump in our unfinished basement. The app detects how much usage you have which isnโt relevant for us since we are on a well and do not pay for consumption but it is still a neat feature to see weโve been trying to cut back on usage to see how much water we can conserve which has been fun to do. It also detects if thereโs any slow leaks in our water which is nice too before my husband would run the water off if we are away for a few days and now after a month and a half of use he feels more confident to safely leave the water turned on. This item gives so much additional peace of mind. After two surprise water leaks resulting in insurance claims, i figured this item would be a good investment. I checked Amazon for similar items from the seller and it boosted my confidence in this item. I did need to get a contractor to install this as i dont have the knowledge - but since that has been completed, the item has been functioning as expected.
I tried different settings to test out the monitor and it definitely has done the job detecting dripping taps. Both leaks i experienced in my house happened when no one was home, so I'm happy to be able to access the monitor through the app and that the monitor will automatically turn off the water if it detects a leak. Time will be the real test and if i experience any issues with the monitor which will change my overall rating, this review will be updated.
